Environmentally Responsible Materials
We offer jewelry and packaging made with recycled materials that we source locally in order to lessen the environmental impact. We strive to use more sustainable materials and invest in the research necessary to reduce our impact on the planet. The use of recycled materials outweighs the environmental impact of mining and processing these resources. There’s less waste disposal, less use of energy and resources, and a smaller carbon footprint.
Zinc, one of the most sustainable metals, is indefinitely 100% recyclable, never losing its chemical or physical properties. This outweighs the environmental impact of mining and processing the mineral. Meaning, we can use recycled zinc without diminishing the quality of our jewelry. In 2020, 35% of all zinc used worldwide came from recycled sources, which is a great start. As an industry, we can do better and we hope to inspire all factories to follow our lead.
To lessen the environmental impact of packaging, we offer FSC-certified materials for primary packaging. The Forest Stewardship Council's (FSC) mission is to promote environmentally sound, socially beneficial, and economically prosperous management of the world's forests. Their visions is that they can meet our current needs for forest products without compromising the health of the world's forests for future generations. We offer recycled materials for all other secondary packaging.
As an extremely sustainable metal, brass can be recycled an infinite number of times without diminishing its composition, thus keeping the quality of our jewelry consistently high.
